Carrick ‘Unravelled’ Organic Pinot Noir 2022, Central Otago

Deep ruby with brilliant garnet hues. The nose opens with dark cherry, plum and blackberry, layered with dried herbs, earthy spice and a subtle touch of oak. Medium-bodied on the palate, it delivers concentrated dark fruit framed by fine, tightly woven tannins and beautifully balanced acidity. Savoury spice, refined oak and slatey minerality carry through a long, structured finish marked by a distinctive stalky red-bean edge. With air, a further dimension emerges with vibrant red fruits, musk, white pepper and silky smooth tannins.
