Stonegarden Eden Valley Single Origin Ale, Eden Valley

Stonegarden Eden Valley Single Origin Ale, Eden Valley

Golden amber in colour, with aromas of toasted malt, biscuit, dried fruit and subtle spice. There is also a gentle earthy, mineral character that adds another layer of interest.

The palate is fine, flavoursome and beautifully balanced, with elegant malt and hops working in harmony. Malted honey, caramel and toasted grain sit at the core, supported by a fine bead and gentle tannin-like grip that gives the ale shape without weighing it down.

Barnyard, mineral and earthy notes add complexity beneath the sweet malt character, while enough bitterness keeps everything fresh. Luscious and layered, yet calm and controlled.

Of the three Stonegarden ales, this is the most relaxed, less forceful than the Moppa and more restrained than the Dutton, but still carrying plenty of depth and character through a long, gently spiced finish.

Vino Masters Score: 97/100 ★★★★★ Elegant, luscious and immensely drinkable, with malted honey, earthy complexity and a beautifully relaxed feel.
