A brooding, iron-fisted Shiraz that feels carved from the ancient soils of Moppa. The nose is a deep well of blackberry compote, graphite, coal dust and dark chocolate. The palate is dense and architectural, layered with black fruits, roasted espresso, and a savoury ferrous edge that gives it gravitas, with flashes of liquorice root and dried sage. Tannins are firm yet sculpted, promising decades of evolution.
