Deep garnet with a ruby edge. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark plum are supported by cedar, tobacco leaf and bay leaf. Bottle age has added notes of graphite, dried herbs and subtle earthy complexity. The palate is medium to full-bodied with flavours of cassis, mulberry and black cherry. Fine, integrated tannins provide structure, while dark chocolate, cedar and savoury spice carry through the mid-palate.
