Paisley Texture Reserve Shiraz 2023, Barossa Valley

Paisley Texture Reserve Shiraz 2023, Barossa Valley Koonunga • Ebenezer • Angaston

Deep inky-purple with a vibrant crimson rim, showing outstanding concentration and youthful power.

The nose is expansive and commanding, bursting with rich blackberry, dark plum and blueberry compote layered with dark chocolate, cracked pepper, liquorice and fragrant spice. French oak maturation adds notes of mocha, vanilla pod and cedar, while the multi-subregional blend brings impressive depth and complexity.

On the palate this is a big, bold and impressively structured Shiraz. Powerful dark berry fruit drives the core, delivering excellent concentration and mouth-filling richness. It balances modern polish and refinement with classic Barossa generosity with muscular tannins providing serious shape, while bright acidity keeps the wine energetic and super flavoursome. The finish is long, layered and resonant with dark fruit, savoury spice and oak integration.

A standout reserve Shiraz from a meticulous barrel selection. It successfully marries bold Barossa character with sophistication. Very well defined.

Vino Masters Score: 96/100 ★★★★★ Bold, complex and super impressive

"The Texture Reserve Shiraz is a blend of three super premium parcels from the Barossa. The wine is built on generous fruit, hands on winemaking, expressive soils and quality oak"

Derek Fitzgerald, Winemaker.
