GE Barossa Shiraz 2018, Barossa Valley

GE Barossa Shiraz 2018, Barossa Valley

Deep inky ruby with a vibrant purple rim in the glass. The nose is powerful and opulent, showcasing the very best of ultra-premium Barossa fruit with intense dark plum, blackberry, mulberry and blackcurrant, layered with rich liquorice, warm spice, dark chocolate and beautifully integrated oak.

On the palate it’s full-bodied and seriously commanding at 15.5% alc/vol. The winemaker’s careful selection of small parcels delivers exceptional concentration and depth; rich, ripe black fruits flood the mouth with impressive density and a solid, velvety mouthfeel. Firm, savoury tannins provide great structure and grip, while the finish is long, powerful and lingering with layers of spice and dark fruit.

Vino Masters Score: 96 / 100 ★★★★★ A standout Barossa Shiraz of real presence and class. Bold, concentrated and built to impress and a true expression of the region’s power and generosity.
