Deep mulberry red. Blackberry, mulberry, dark cherry and cedar. Medium-bodied, with blackberry, cherry kirsch and dried herbs. Oak brings vanilla and mocha. Incredible length and silky smooth tannins. Plush bramble, savoury spice and chocolate lead to lush red fruit and a cool slightly minty finish. Looking amazingly bright and fresh for a nine year old wine. Superb structure. Balanced and supporting firm tannins abound. A poised and complete wine.
