Monterra Reserve Shiraz 2025, McLaren Vale

Dark and glossy in the glass, with ripe blackberry, plum and blueberry jumping out. There’s also a nice hit of chocolate, spice and liquorice, with a little vanilla from the oak. The fruit is plush, the tannins are smooth and there’s enough freshness to keep everything moving. The oak adds shape but never gets in the way. A very easy wine to enjoy, with plenty of McLaren Vale flavour.
