Deep inky-purple with a vibrant crimson rim, showing outstanding concentration. The nose is bold and fragrant, bursting with ripe blackberry, dark cherry and mulberry compote, layered with dark chocolate, coffee bean, cracked pepper and savoury spice. On the palate this is a powerful, full-bodied and opulent Shiraz. Intense dark fruit is supported by velvety tannins, mocha oak and impressive texture. The old-vine intensity from the 1960s Blewitt Springs vineyard shines through with excellent depth, structure and a long, commanding finish.
