Deep crimson with youthful purple hues, this Cabernet blend shows real depth from the outset. The nose is expressive and classic, with blackcurrant and cassis to the fore, layered with blackberry, cedar, cigar box and subtle dried sage. With time, hints of graphite, cocoa powder and bay leaf emerge, adding further complexity.

On the palate it feels almost feather-light at first, with beautifully balanced dark fruits flowing across the tongue. Then the tannins rise up from beneath; fine, yet rustic, giving the wine real structure and presence. There’s genuine elegance here, but also a satisfying depth that makes it deeply pleasurable to drink. Dark plum, black olive and dark chocolate notes sit comfortably alongside savoury oak influences, all carried by fresh acidity through to a long persistent finish.
