Vandenberg Chardonnay 2025, Limestone Coast

The Ari Collection honours Ari Vandenberg, a young Dutch merchant sailor landing unexpectedly on the Limestone Coast in 1857. After his ship was torn from its anchor during a violent gale and wrecked near Robe, Ari was one of only nine crewmen to survive. Cold, penniless and stranded far from home, he turned his back on the sea and chose to build a new life in South Australia. This is the Vandenberg story.

Pale straw with bright golden hues. Aromas of white peach, ripe nectarine and lemon zest are layered with grapefruit, toasted cashew and subtle vanilla oak. The palate is medium-bodied with generous stone fruit flavours, creamy texture and refreshing citrus acidity. Hints of roasted almond, gentle oak spice and minerality provide lusciousness before an elegant creamy finish.
