I love Alkoomi !

They have been quietly making excellent wine for decades and this is another beauty.

Deep crimson in the glass. Blackcurrant, cassis and mulberry lead the nose, with bay leaf, cedar and a streak of graphite keeping things classic and savoury. The palate is pure with concentrated red berry fruit framed by fine tannins and fresh natural acidity. Dark chocolate, cedar and dried herbs build nicely through the mid-palate before an energetic 2024 finish.
