A single vineyard from the Avon Brae property. Eight days on skins, then 17 months in French barriques.

Deep crimson with developing garnet. Blackcurrant, blackberry and dark plum, with cedar, bay leaf, graphite and earthy spice.

Medium to full-bodied and structured. Concentrated cassis, framed by fine, polished tannins and balanced acidity. Boisterous oak adds savoury depth and dark chocolate, now settled by age into complexity and integration through the mid-palate. The finish is long, dry and persistent, with cassis, cedar and graphite lingering.
