Deep crimson, ruby at the rim. The nose jumps in with raspberry and ripe cherry, then dark plums. Grenache brings the lift and the red fruit. Shiraz drops in the darker berry weight. Mataro keeps it savoury and gives the frame. Chocolate and pepper sit under the fruit, and 18 months in seasoned French and American oak hogsheads adds complexity without stealing the show. Fine tannins, a long finish, nothing jammy, nothing shy.
