Deep ruby with vibrant crimson hues. Aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry and plum are layered with liquorice, baking spice, dark chocolate, toasted oak and subtle earthy notes.

The palate is medium to full-bodied, rich and generous, with blackberry and plum flowing into chocolate, espresso and sweet spice. Secondary fermentation in bottle and time on yeast lees bring a fine, creamy mousse and additional savoury complexity, giving the wine more depth. Fresh acidity keeps the palate lively, while the dark fruit remains plush and concentrated.

Rich and deeply flavoured, finishing long with dark berries, chocolate, spice and earthy complexity.
