Deep violet-black with a purple rim. Blueberry, blackberry and dark plum, then violet, ironstone and savoury spice.

Rich and remarkably supple. Generous blue and black fruit on fine chalky tannin and finely grained French oak. Ferruginous mineral line, rustic and meaty, Lachsschinken and beef stock in the mix. Acid keeping it fresh. Dark chocolate and a little mocha. Persistent finish of dark fruit, spice and ironstone.
