Deep garnet with developing brick-red hues. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry are layered with cedar, tobacco leaf and subtle earthy spice.

Eight years on and this wine is in a great place. Full and settled. Concentrated dark fruit on resolved tannin, oak long since folded in. Cassis, dark chocolate and dried herb through the middle, acid still keeping it honest. Long savoury finish of tobacco, cedar and dark fruit. A mature Coonawarra red, ready now.
