Ripe blackcurrant Cabernet. Liquorice and savoury oak, and it wears them well.

Deep garnet. Cassis and blackcurrant first, then liquorice, cedar and that savoury oak line. Full and generous. Ripe currant fruit fills the middle, tannin firm enough to keep it Cabernet, oak adding spice rather than sweetness. Long, savoury finish. Single-vineyard Margaret River with a bit of grunt.
