Aromatically one of the most perfumed red wines we’ve tasted. On the palate it is light as a feather yet intrinsically intense, with pure cherry fruit, fragrant spices and a wonderful sense of lift. Give her air and she sings; long, fine and beautifully detailed, with slatey minerality and super-fine tannins.

Damien Tscharke has been in the vineyard since he was three, winning the Barossa pruning competition at just 13. He plants vines, puts posts in, lays dripper wires, builds winery infrastructure, picks grapes and makes mind blowing wines. A remarkably hands-on talent and equally generous with his knowledge, he embraces people and takes them under his wing. Tscharke wines have long been favourites of ours and we reckon they always will be.
