This is a beautiful expression of Grenache Blanc from the Bethany subregion of the Barossa Valley. Handpicked, wild yeast fermented and given seven hours on skins, it has a lovely sense of texture and character. Elegant, soft and supple, with a refined, silky feel across the palate. There’s just the right amount of fruit sweetness, balanced beautifully by lemony acidity and an intriguing wash-rind cheese savouriness that adds complexity. Everything feels composed and effortless. A wine that doesn’t need food to make sense of it. It is absolutely delicious on its own.
