Deep crimson with an intense purple core. Blackberry, black plum and blueberry, then warm spice, liquorice, dark chocolate and a little smoky oak. Red berry in there too.

Full and powerful, and very well balanced. Red berry and blueberry sit with the dense dark fruit. Assertive fine-grained tannin, and the acid keeps it fresh. Roasted plum, tar, coffee cream, peppercorn, red liquorice and kirsch through the middle. Mocha and cedar from the oak, and the fruit stays pure. Serious weight. Long, seamless finish. This is the bullseye.
