Eight years on and you can see why.

Deep crimson with garnet hues and attractive bottle development. Blackcurrant, blackberry and dark plum, then cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate and a little dried herb.

Full-bodied and mature. Cabernet brings cassis and structure, Shiraz brings richness and generosity. Caramel sits through the mid-palate. Fine, integrated tannin gives shape. Savoury spice, mocha and subtle oak build through the middle. Tertiary characters add depth without knocking out the dark-fruit core. Long, smooth, savoury finish. Open it with roast beef or a hard cheese.
