Estate fruit. Firm and ripe. Deep crimson with vibrant purple. Blackberry, ripe plum and dark cherry, then cracked pepper, liquorice and a little cedar. Modern Vale. Fresh and crunchy through the mid-palate, dark fruit over fine, polished tannin. Then the dark chocolate weight rises on the finish. Pepper and cocoa hang around. Long, firm close that lives on. Great wine.
