The nose is fragrant and savoury, offering ripe blackberry and dark cherry layered with cracked pepper, spice, earth and subtle leather.

On the palate this is medium to full-bodied with excellent balance. Pure dark berry fruit is supported by fine, supple tannins and bright acidity. It shows lovely regional character with savoury spice, black pepper and a touch of earth running through a textured, harmonious mid-palate. The finish is long, clean and elegantly structured.
