The nose is fragrant and lifted, offering bright cassis, blackcurrant and dark cherry fruit layered with subtle mint, bay leaf, cedar and savoury spice.

On the palate this is medium to full-bodied with beautiful balance. Vibrant blackcurrant and cassis fruit is supported by fine, supple tannins and bright acidity. The cold soak has delivered excellent colour and fruit purity while keeping the tannins refined and approachable. It shows lovely depth and freshness, with a clean, long and elegant finish.

A very well-made Cabernet that successfully combines the richness of Wrattonbully with the elegance of Orange.
