Decant 30 minutes. Ripe, savoury and distinctly Barossan.

Dark cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, then liquorice bullets, dark chocolate and warm spice. Nine years in and it has settled, but it still wants that air to open up. Blue fruits do come forward.

Full and premium in feel. Rustic, meaty edge. Fine leather-like savoury characters woven through the fruit. Liquorice, chocolate, spice and earth through the mid-palate. Earth, leather and a quiet mineral note. Oak sits inside the wine.

Tannin is the highlight. Incredibly fine, tightly interwoven, giving structure and length. Richness is there. Freshness and mineral drive keep it moving. Depth, savoury complexity, detail under the power.
