Deep garnet with developing brick-red hues. Aromas of blackberry, black plum and dark cherry are layered with cedar, leather, tobacco leaf and subtle earthy spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with silky dark fruit supported by beautifully resolved tannins and integrated oak. Notes of dark chocolate, dried herbs and savoury spice build through the mid-palate, revealing the complexity gained through extended bottle age. Balanced acidity maintains freshness and structure, leading to a long, persistent finish of dark fruit and cedar.
