Deep crimson with a purple core. Aromas of blackberry, black plum and blueberry with cracked pepper, liquorice and dark chocolate.

Big, brooding and rustic. Ripe fruit sits on well-supported oak, with savoury, firm tannin holding the lot together. Blackcurrant fruits, pepper and cocoa keep the mid palate honest, and the finish runs long. A solid wine and very easy to like.
