Deep, opaque crimson-purple in the glass, with a vibrant rim. The nose bursts with dark berry compote - blackberry, boysenberry and plum, interwoven with dark chocolate, licorice, fruitcake spice and a savoury thread of turned earth, graphite and a subtle menthol/eucalyptus lift.

On the palate it’s full-bodied and commanding, with layers of concentrated black fruit, cocoa and spice. Firm, gravelly tannins provide excellent structure and grip, while bright acidity maintains freshness and balance. The alcohol is warming yet well integrated, leading into a long, persistent finish with lingering savoury, mineral and chocolate notes.
