From 24-year-old MV6 vines at the Hutchinson Vineyard in Yarra Glen, this is a finely tuned and expressive Yarra Valley pinot noir, crafted from hand-picked fruit, 10% whole bunch inclusion and just 10% new French oak.

Beautiful, it's silky smooth and super fresh, with fine silky tannins that weave and glow across the palate. It pops with cherries, plums and rhubarb, bringing a refreshing brightness and immediacy. Aromatics are lifted and pure; red cherry, wild strawberry and rose petal threaded with a light dusting of spice and a whisper of whole-bunch complexity.

The palate is supple and flowing, driven by vibrant acidity and those zippy tannins that give energy and shape. Oak sits comfortably right in the background, adding a gentle textural polish. There is a lot to like here; clarity, drinkability and charm in equal measure, finishing long and fresh with lingering red fruits and spice.
