Lone Palm Vineyard Old Vine Shiraz 2023, Barossa Valley

Lone Palm Vineyard Old Vine Shiraz 2023, Barossa Valley

“Opulent sunshine, rich soil, hand picking and traditional winemaking are utilised to produce dark, fruity, full-bodied premium Shiraz”

Rich purple in the glass with a deep, almost opaque core. The nose is fragrant and inviting, showing dark cherry, black raspberry and blueberry fruit lifted by notes of liquorice, warm mineral and gentle toasty oak. On the palate it is full-bodied yet elegantly structured, with concentrated layers of savoury dark fruits, fine-grained tannins and excellent depth that clearly reflects the 60-plus-year-old vines from Vine Vale, Nuriootpa and Ebenezer. Seasoned French and American oak provides subtle support without overpowering, letting the fruit and multi-site character shine through to a long, smooth and satisfying finish. A classic old vine Barossa Shiraz with real presence and everyday charm.

Vino Masters Score: 95/100

★★★★★ A beautifully balanced old vine Shiraz that honours some of the Barossa’s most historic vineyards.
