Tom and Pete’s flagship Cabernet, the ‘P&R’ is hand-crafted from a single dry-grown vineyard high on the eastern ranges of the Clare Valley. The 2023 vintage delivered ideal cool conditions, allowing the fruit to develop rich varietal character on red soils over underlying slate.

Deep dark red with crimson hues, the wine shows aromas of blackcurrant and boysenberry, layered with vanilla bean, tomato leaf and classic bramble notes. On the palate it is medium-bodied and finely textured, with dark berry fruit, dried herbs and cocoa. Fine tannins and subtle integrated oak provide structure and length, while bright, slate-driven acidity keeps the wine fresh and vibrant. This delicious wine is the perfect accompaniment to slow-cooked lamb and will also live for miles in the cellar.
