Deep garnet with an inky crimson core. The aromatics are rich and layered with blackcurrant, cassis and ripe blackberry with hints of cedar, tobacco leaf and dark chocolate. On the palate it’s powerful and full-bodied, driven by a core of lush blue-fruited berries and dark fruit. Firm tannins give the wine real structure, while the judicious use of French oak integrates beautifully, adding espresso, graphite and savoury herbs.
