Deep, opaque crimson with a purple rim. Ripe blackberry, black plum and blueberry, then liquorice, dark chocolate, cracked pepper and warm spice.

Rich and full. Concentrated dark berry and plum, velvety through the middle. Fine tannin underneath, oak, mocha and savoury spice adding depth. Acid keeps the richness honest. Long finish of dark fruit, chocolate and spice.
