Five years in bottle have brought this Barossa red into a lovely drinking window. The aroma is dusty and earthy, with blueberry, dark fruit and savoury oak notes rising from the glass.

On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with plenty of texture from basket pressing. Ripe blueberry fruit is supported by firm but well-managed tannins and a savoury oak influence. There’s a lovely earthy, slightly rustic edge that adds character, while the wine remains balanced and surprisingly approachable. The finish is long and satisfying, with a gentle grip.

This is a well-made, old-school style Barossa red that’s drinking beautifully right now, perfect with your favourite cheese.
