Bright and expressive, the aroma shows red cherry, wild raspberry and ripe strawberry, layered with dried herbs, rose petals and a subtle earthy spice. It has the lifted, finely detailed character typical of a cooler vintage.

On the palate it is medium-bodied and beautifully poised, with red cherry fruit, silky tannins and lively acidity working in harmony. Notes of cherry, cranberry and tomato leaf build through the mid-palate, supported by fine structure, before finishing long and savoury.
