Made using the traditional method with three years ageing on lees, this limited sparkling red is a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet. Only 6,448 bottles were produced. Expressive and complex, the aroma shows ripe blackberry, cassis and dark cherry layered with cedar, dried herbs, dark chocolate and savoury spice.

On the palate it is medium to full-bodied with concentrated black fruit, robust tannins and balanced acidity. Flavours of blackberry, plum and blackcurrant are complemented by subtle oak and savoury notes, while the fine bubbles add texture and freshness.

It has a lovely richness and savoury depth that reminds me of Rockford’s Black Shiraz….a serious sparkling red that’s also perfect for Sunday brunch.
