Vino Masters Goes to Korea! 🇰🇷🍷
I'll be away from the tasting bench from Monday 2 November 2026, travelling to South Korea on wine business.
I'll be back behind the tasting bench w/c Monday 9 November.
In the meantime, Russ will be undertaking some serious research into Korean cuisine, with a particular focus on:
Guk, Tang & Jjigae: Warming soups and stews, including ox-bone soup!?
Kimchi & Banchan: Fermented vegetables and traditional Korean side dishes.
Bibimbap: Rice, vegetables, meat, egg and a generous kick of chilli.
Bulgogi & Galbi: marinated beef and grilled short ribs.
Korean Fried Chicken: Crispy, crunchy and possibly addictive!
Hopefully, the palate survives the chilli, the chopsticks behave, and the Korean hospitality lives up to its reputation!
