Aromas of blackberry, satsuma plum and dark cherry are layered with notes of licorice, dark chocolate and subtle baking spice. A touch of cedar and mocha adds complexity.

The palate is generously flavoured with concentrated black fruits in the mid palate, supported by crushed ant tannins and balanced acidity. Hints of cocoa, clove spice and gentle oak influence emerge through a savoury finish, which is persistent and distinctly Barossan.
