Deep crimson with vibrant purple hues. Blackberry, ripe plum and dark chocolate lead the bouquet, with a thread of savoury spice. Medium-bodied, the palate is finely drawn: spicy dark fruits ride across fine-grained tannins, mocha, black pepper and earthy chocolate building through the mid-palate. A mineral line keeps it honest, and the finish is long with generous blackberry fruit.
