Alpha Crucis ‘Southern Cross’ Shiraz 2024, McLaren Vale

Chalk Hill Wines Alpha Crucis Southern Cross Shiraz 2024, McLaren Vale

Deep crimson with a purple core.

Blackberry, ripe plum and blueberry, then violet, cedar and savoury spice underneath. Full and concentrated.

Rich dark fruit on fine tannin, oak already in its place. Blackberry and plum through the middle, cocoa and earthy spice for depth. Bright acid, long polished finish of dark fruit and spice. Amazing viticulture and winemaking once again.

Vino Masters Score: 96/100 ★★★★★ Vale Shiraz with real density, fine tannin and a long savoury line.
