Mid-gold. White peach, citrus blossom and ripe stone fruit, then cashew, toast and a flinty flicker. Medium-bodied and generously textured. Peaches and cream through the middle, lively acid, quiet oak. Clean, long finish, a little whipped-butter richness on the end.

Pork knuckle or coq au vin. Or just a good glass.
