Deep crimson with purple depth. Blackcurrant, blackberry and dark plum, then cedar, mint, graphite and a little spice. 15% alc and it stands up. No sign of a cooler vintage.

Full. Super-rich cassis and dark berry, fine tannin, lively acid. Oak adds gentle chocolate and savoury depth. Long, dry finish of cassis, graphite and spice. Rich, bold, full flavoured. Excellent viticulture and winemaking.
