Deep garnet. Dark currant and black fruit sit with earth, dried herb and spice. The fruit is there, just sitting behind the savoury line. Medium bodied. Savoury mid-palate of meat, olive and spice, mineral lift through the middle, firm refined tannin and a dry edge on the finish. Not the juiciest year in the glass today, but the structure is intact.
