Bright ruby with a deep cherry core. Dark cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, then subtle spice, earth and toasty oak. Medium-bodied and finely structured. Concentrated red fruit, silky tannin, fresh acid. Excellent balance and length. French oak adds gentle savoury spice without crowding the fruit. Elegant, persistent, finely detailed finish. Drink now with duck, or give it a few years.
