Howard Vineyard Shiraz 2025, Adelaide Hills

Howard Vineyard Shiraz 2025, Adelaide Hills

Estate grown on the Mt Barker vineyard, this 2025 Howard Vineyard Shiraz is an absolute beauty.

It pours a stunning, flawless crimson with vibrant purple hues; easily one of the best-looking young Shiraz I’ve seen this year. The nose is seriously impressive: super lifted and complex, yet it also has this fun, lolly shop playfulness that makes it instantly likeable. Red and black fruits leap out of the glass.

The palate is slightly raw and edgy in the best possible way; energetic, characterful and delicious. It’s packed with red fruits, ripe plums, dark cherries and blackcurrant, layered with spice, cloves, rhubarb, liquorice strap and earthy undertones. The tannins are firm but fine, the acidity is bright, and the whole wine has this vibrant, mouth-filling energy that I can’t get enough of.

I absolutely love this wine. It’s got soul, personality and serious drinkability.
