Deep inky-purple with a vibrant crimson rim, showing excellent concentration and youthful intensity. The nose is complex and savoury, offering a beautiful fusion of blackberry, dark cherry and cassis layered with violet, cracked pepper, cedar, mocha and fragrant spices.

On the palate, it’s rich, layered and impressively polished for such a young wine. Plush dark berry fruit sits at the core, seamlessly integrated with savoury spice, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate and fine, velvety tannins. The 18 months in new French oak has added wonderful structure, depth and complexity without overpowering the fruit. Bright acidity provides excellent drive and freshness, leading to a long, savoury and remarkably harmonious finish.
