Deep inky purple with an intense crimson edge, this Petit Verdot shows serious concentration and depth. The nose is rich and fragrant, with blackcurrant, blueberry and dark plum leading, supported by violets, cocoa and hints of clove. On the palate it’s medium to full-bodied with dense black fruit, firm tannins and well-integrated oak. Layers of dark chocolate, spice and savoury earthiness build through the wine, while the finish is powerful, persistent and utterly seductive.
