Chalk Hill ‘Diana Mary’ Rosé 2026, McLaren Vale

Chalk Hill ‘Diana Mary’ Rosé 2026, McLaren Vale

A tribute to Diana Mary, known as ‘Disey’, the matriarch of Chalk Hill.

Pale salmon pink. Fragrant red berries, rose petal and watermelon, then raspberry, pomegranate and bright citrus. Pink grapefruit in there too.

Light, crisp and dry. Juicy red berry on a smooth, fine texture. Orange and Meyer lemon, with a thread of Grenache spice. Fruit stays delicate rather than sweet. A subtle savoury line through the middle. Fresh acid carries a clean, zesty finish of strawberry, citrus and florals. Personality, and a family story behind it.

Vino Masters Score: 95/100 ★★★★★ Disey’s Rosé. Strawberry, rose petal, Meyer lemon and a zesty dry close.
