Revisited nine months on, this wine is looking noticeably fresher and more expressive.

Bright crimson, with lifted red fruits leading the aromatics. Strawberry, cranberry and red cherry are joined by more obvious whole-bunch characters, gentle florals and savoury spice, giving the nose extra freshness and complexity.

The palate has opened beautifully. The oak has moved further into the background, allowing strawberry and cranberry fruit to sit front and centre. Fine tannins, lively acidity and a gentle savoury edge provide shape, while the whole-bunch influence adds texture and intrigue.

Fresh, elegant and increasingly harmonious, with the fruit now driving the wine and the structure sitting neatly underneath.
