The nose opens with cassis, blackcurrant and dark plum layered with cedar, tobacco leaf and subtle earthy complexity. The age has softened the wine gracefully, allowing savoury tertiary notes to sit seamlessly alongside the remaining fruit vitality.

The palate is medium to full-bodied with fine, integrated tannins shaping a long and elegant frame. Concentrated black fruit carries through the entry before notes of cocoa, dried herbs and graphite emerge through the mid-palate with excellent detail and persistence. Fresh acidity keeps the wine alive and focused, finishing refined and beautifully resolved with lingering savoury complexity.
